Our first PowerPlant project is coming next month, July 19-25.  Of this summer’s twenty projects across the country Cincinnati has more participants registered than any other place except Savannah, Georgia.  We closed our registration a couple months ago at 186 participants; Savannah currently has 189 participants registered.  I don’t know how to explain why Cincinnati has received this much attention except that God has certainly blessed.  To Him be honor and glory!

We have ten ministry groups coming from six states:  North and South Carolina, Oklahoma, Missouri, Mississippi, and Kentucky.  They are being assigned to help eight church planters:  Sergei Luzginov, Dorrien Hinsey, David Dorr, Tim Cotler, Michael Clary, Geoff Prows, Jim Kerns, and Jeff Pendergrass.  First Mason will be hosting the event by providing the lodging facility.  NAMB will be bringing in shower trailers and a food contractor will be providing breakfasts and lunches.  Jerome Byrd will be teaching the required curriculum on church planting.  This really will be a big week, and we are praying an effective one for reaching people and starting churches.
